Details: This project involved the construction of a contemporary designed two storey house on a landmark site looking out over Galway Bay. The house was designed to make the most of the outstanding views. This incorporated having the main living areas on the first floor. The finishes were of a very high standard including Alu-Clad windows and doors, cut limestone reveals and cills to windows, natural Lacken stone cladding to external walls, a frameless glass balcony and natural slate finish to the roof. Extensive hard landscaping was carried out externally also. Internally finishes were of a very high standard and featured a curved oak stairs, bespoke fitted furniture, hardwood flooring and joinery and marble flooring.
Mechanical features included underfloor heating, solar panels and HRV. Electrical features included cctv, sound systems and LED lighting. A lift was also installed as part of the project.
