The summer works of 2013 involved various projects within the NUIG student campus. Projects varied from re-roofing projects on the Arts Science building and Library Building, refurbishment of toilet blocks, corridor refurbishment to Aras de Brun, Chemistry Lab refurbishments, window installations, etc. The work was undertaken during the summer months but was carried out in a live university within a very strict timescale. Works also involved a full mechanical and electrical packages including new heating and air-conditioning system, new electrical fit out incl fire alarm systems.
Finishes were completed to a contemporary style including feature bulkhead ceilings and walls, contemporary toilet fit-outs, full height doors marmoleum and carpet tiled floor finishes. Despite being undertaken in a busy university environment the project was completed on time and within budget and with a perfect health & safety record.
