Project: House Extension Location: Salthill, Galway Architect: Scott Tallon Walker, Galway This project involved the construction of a new extension to the rear, a small porch to the front, and a new shed to the side of the house. The modern design of the new structures and the extensive use of hard landscaping transformed the house to give it a much more contemporary look. The extension at the rear of the house was designed to create a new living area which would then open up onto the newly formed rear patio through the use of the large 7.5 metre long fully open-able full-height sliding door system which allows the living area to flow out onto the hard landscaping rear patio and garden area.
