Details: The summer works of 2012 involved various projects within the NUIG student campus. Projects varied from re-roofing projects to office refurbishment projects to the construction of a new student contact centre. The work was undertaken during the summer months but was carried out in a live university within a very strict timescale. Works also involved a full mechanical and electrical packages including new heating and air-conditioning system, new electrical fit out incl fire alarm systems.
Finishes were completed to a contemporary style including feature curved ceilings and walls, frameless glass offices, full height doors and bright paint and floor finishes.
Despite being undertaken in a busy university environment the project was completed on time and within budget and with a perfect health & safety record.
